Our development programs are designed to keep you challenged and help ensure your professional success. Among the ways we do so:

Performance Management Process (PMP) — helps you do your best on your job, focus your activities on achieving your work unit’s business objectives and set goals for your development.

New to Chevron Process — provides you with on-the-job training, a support network and an introduction to our company, our business and our values. Through this year-long process, new employees can develop the confidence and mindset to pursue continuous improvement in their performance, personal growth, and development.

On-the-job education — helps you build the knowledge, skills and attributes you’ll need to remain competitive.

Education Assistance support — pays for part of the cost of approved courses while you’re working for us; up to 75 percent of the cost of course work, including costs for tuition, textbooks, lab fees, registration and administration fees.
