Who we hire
We're looking for talented M.B.A. students who:
- Possess strong leadership potential.
- Possess both creative and analytical skills to reach innovative solutions to complex business issues.
- Thrive in team-based, collaborative environments.
- Have flexibility to move among a variety of U.S. and global work assignments.
- Have three to six years' pre-M.B.A. work experience.
- Are attending U.S. business schools (including both U.S. and international students).
Previous industry experience is valuable but not a requirement.
What you’ll do
Chevron's Global Gas Commercial Skills Development Program will expose you to all facets of the global gas business and allow you to develop skills such as:
- Strategy and business planning
- Business development
- Asset commercialization
- Business and economic evaluation
During the two-year program, you'll rotate through four assignments (each lasting approximately six months). Rotations are not predetermined - they will depend on your interests and Chevron's business needs. Assignments may include rotations in:
- Gas Commercialization
- Natural Gas
- Pipe Line
- Global Power
- Shipping
- Headquarters office
- Global Upstream
- Corporate Business Development
You'll receive guidance from both a dedicated program manager who will help manage your career and a senior leader who will serve as your mentor. You will also receive frequent performance feedback during each rotation assignment.
