What you’ll do

Within this function your responsibilities may include:

  • Provide on-going business metrics
  • Analyze historic business metrics for trends
  • Calculate detailed cost breakdown and recommend areas for product cost containment/reduction
  • Work with colleagues to analyze market conditions and opportunities, forecasting trends and evaluating relevant data
  • Provide long term product cost and revenue projections consistent with business plans and industry forecasts
  • Consolidate business plans and financial forecasts, yielding a consistent, logical result using business-based and data-driven methods
  • Coordinate and reconcile routine aspects of overall financial forecasts with business plan
  • Plan coordination, business research and create plans for new business development
  • Assist in planning detailed business strategies, possibly assisting in developing operating companies’ overall business strategies
  • May assist in developing international strategies
  • Design business sections for intranet Web pages and provide input for divisional VP speeches
  • Write large, complex AR’s for strategic business units (SBUs)
  • Develop competitive information, market and business forecasts, consultant information, relative performance data, and fulfill SBU data requests
  • Provide significant summary and interpretation of the information provided
  • Perform business and market analysis to identify and evaluate potential new business development opportunities
  • Align analyses with operating company’s strategies and goals
