Chevron's Downstream & Chemicals Graduate Development Program seeks to enhance and broaden critical skills and competencies of participants who have the potential to become senior leaders within the company.

  • Are flexible and geographically mobile enough to move among different assignments.
  • Have an M.B.A. degree and three to six years of pre-M.B.A. work experience.

What You'll Do

The two-year program consists of four rotational assignments that are designed to expose you to the entire value chain of the downstream business—from product creation to the consumer—while you also develop your management and leadership skills.

Your rotational assignments may include:

  • Crude Supply and Trading
  • Product Supply and Trading
  • Strategy Development
  • Supply Chain
  • Retail Operations
  • Brand and Product Management
  • Franchise Development
  • Planning and Operations

There is no pre-established sequence for your rotations. You will be working with dedicated program managers who will guide the path that you follow based on your interests and development areas, as well as the business needs.

Where You'll Work

We look for individuals who are willing to relocate for different assignments within or outside the United States. Most of your rotational assignments will be located in the San Francisco Bay Area or Houston, Texas.
