Come and help turn crude oil into finished products for sale. Global Refining runs the refineries that make the fuels and petroleum products that our other Chevron businesses sell.

Refining at Chevron is a truly global effort that encompasses:

  • Eight proprietary (company-owned) and 11 joint venture refineries in 14 countries
  • An overall refining capacity of more than 2.2 million barrels a day
  • Generation of more than 25 different products, customized to meet local requirements
  • Employment of over 7,000 employees and contractors to keep its operations running around the clock
  • Fuel for customers’ automobiles at over 24,000 retail sites worldwide

Where you’ll work

You might work in one of Chevron's wholly-owned refining operations. In the U.S., refineries are located in:

  • El Segundo and Richmond, California
  • Kapolei, Hawaii
  • Pascagoula, Mississippi
  • Salt Lake City, Utah

Outside the U.S., refineries are located in:

  • Burnaby, Canada
  • Cape Town, South Africa
  • Pembroke, United Kingdom
