What you’ll do

Your first two years at Chevron will be spent in four rotational assignments, each lasting approximately six months. You’ll be doing real jobs and making a real contribution, with your assignments being largely driven by our desire to expose you to certain Chevron businesses, individuals and practices, and to gauge your skill set.

There is no pre-established sequence for your rotations. Instead, the path you follow will grow out of your interests and development areas, as well as Chevrons business needs with guidance from the program manager. Your assignments might include work in four of the following areas:

  • Corporate Comptroller’s
  • Corporate Treasury
  • Corporate Strategic Planning
  • Global Upstream
  • Global Gas
  • Global Downstream
  • Corporate Audit
  • Credit

A full-time manager, who is also a program alumnus, coordinates the program. Having been through the program, the manager knows the full range of possible assignments and will help tailor the assignments to meet your interests and development needs, balancing them between corporate and operating areas within Chevron.
