Who We Hire

We’re looking for talented individuals from top-tier university programs who are passionate about professional development and who aspire to work in an ever-evolving and challenging industry.

Ideal candidates demonstrate:

  • Strong leadership potential and interpersonal skills.
  • Solid analytical skills and financial acumen.
  • A desire and willingness to work in a variety of different roles and business units across the globe.
  • Strategic thinking and an ability to develop innovative solutions to complex business problems.

You’ll need:

  • A postgraduate degree in a related discipline, with a track record of strong academic performance.
  • Three to five years of relevant pre-graduate degree work experience.

What You'll Do

If you’re selected for the two-year graduate development program, you’ll:

  • Complete four unique six-month assignments across the Global Lubricants business.
  • Apply your experience and education while broadening your skills.
  • Receive specialized training.
  • Participate in personalized skill and competency development activities.
  • Receive mentoring from senior leaders of the Global Lubricants organization.

Rotational assignments may include:

  • Strategy development
  • Supply chain
  • Decision support (modeling and evaluation)
  • Sector/channel marketing
  • Sales
  • Base oil
  • Research and development

Where You'll Work

We’re looking for individuals who are geographically mobile and who are willing to relocate for different assignments. Your first assignment will be in our world headquarters in San Ramon, California. Depending on your development goals and Chevron’s business needs, future assignments may be domestic or global.
