What You'll Do
Chevron Global Supply and Trading focuses on marketing and selling marine lubricants and related
products; intermediate fuel oils (bunkers), marine gas oil (MGO), marine diesel oil (MDO) and related
products.
You may work in one of the following areas:
- Supply — optimize our supply activities by providing the best crude or other raw materials to the
right locations, at the right times, at the lowest possible cost, safely and incident-free.
- Trading — trading activities provide incremental value through system optimization and earnings
generated in markets where we have core operations.
- Marketing — marketing activities create value for Chevron by providing products and services to end
users of petroleum-based energy. These activities are carried out by several of our customer-facing
businesses. For example, Crude Supply & Trading markets equity crude to non-Chevron refiners, and
Aviation markets jet fuel to airline customers worldwide.
You’ll have opportunities to:
- Focus on basic market dynamics in the local area, maintain our existing customer base, and develop new
opportunities to sell Fuel and Marine Marketing (FAMM) lubricants or fuels.
- Maximize account performance and improve overall financial results and business unit efficiencies.
- Recommend product pricing strategies.
- Manage and control expense budgets.
