Apprentices and trainees are valuable skill resources who bring new ideas and diversity to the business. Opportunities are available to individuals who demonstrate excellence in previous vocational studies and/or have relevant workplace experience.
There are a number of nationally recognised programs on offer including a Mechanical Fitting Apprenticeship (4 years), Electrical/Instrumentation Apprenticeship (4 years), Warehouse Operations Traineeship (2 years), Business Administration Traineeship (2 years) and Process Operator Traineeship (2 years). Each stream involves comprehensive practical and theoretical training which is reinforced through a combination of on and off the job learning strategies.
Participants in the programs will:
- Gain invaluable hands-on experience by being a part of operating oil and gas projects.
- Receive structured off-the-job training.
- Continue career development under the supervision and guidance of an experienced mentor.
- Use the program as a gateway to explore job opportunities with Chevron.
Upon completion of the program you will receive a nationally recognised qualification in the given discipline.
