Chevron's vacation employment program was recently voted 8th in the 2015 Top Intern Programs in Australia survey.
Chevron offers vacation employment opportunities to university students in their penultimate year of study. Our structured 12-week program provides an opportunity to gain valuable insight and experience working on real oil and gas projects in a supportive and diverse environment.
Available positions vary each year, however applications are typically encouraged from high performing students studying the following disciplines:
- Earth science
- Facilities engineering
- Health, environment and safety
- Supply chain management
- Petroleum engineering
To participate in the Vacation Employment Program, you must be an undergraduate or postgraduate university student in your penultimate year of study.
Chevron values diversity. Mature age applicants, candidates with disabilities, Australian Aboriginals and those with diverse cultural backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Please note that these positions are based in Western Australia and are open to Australian citizens.
