  • Earth science (geology, geophysics)

In addition to full-time positions, Chevron provides internship opportunities and a formal training program.

Internships

Internships are available for outstanding university students in the following areas:

  • Corporate communications
  • Earth science (geology, geophysics)
  • Engineering (civil, chemical, electrical, mechanical, petroleum)
  • Finance

Assignments generally last four to12 months. When you participate, you’ll:

  • Gain hands-on experience by participating in live projects.
  • Explore skills under the supervision and guidance of experienced professionals.
  • Use our internship program as a gateway to explore job opportunities with Chevron after graduation.

Horizons Training Program

Horizons is a formal five-year training program available to recent graduates with education in the following areas:

  • Engineering
  • Geology
  • Information technology

The program includes a curriculum of courses and the opportunity to expand your technical experience and job skills.

Depending on your role, your journey at Chevron could take you to one or more of the following Canada locations, as well as other locations around the globe:

  • Calgary, Alberta — Chevron’s Upstream headquarters
  • St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador — Chevron’s Upstream operations
  • Burnaby, British Columbia — Chevron’s Downstream operations
