Overview: The role of Chemicals – Sales Account Manager is responsible for the sales and support of lubricant additives to both existing and new customers.  This is a technical sales/account management role and the successful candidate will interface with external customers and internal cross-functional teams to successfully manage a portfolio of North America-based accounts.  This office-based role is based in Houston, TX.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

  • Sales and customer support of Chevron Oronite lubricant additives for a broad base of customers in North America

  • Delivering sustainable results aligned to strategic objectives for volume, margin, customer profitability, selling prices and expenses.

  • Building strategic relationships with customers at different levels and functions

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline

  • 3+ years of additives or lubricants industry knowledge

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of chemistry

  • Strong negotiation and leadership skills

  • Effective communication/presentation skills

  • Working knowledge of Salesforce CRM

Relocation Options:

Relocation may be considered.

Expatriate assignments will not be considered.
