Air Permit & Implementation Specialist

Chevron is accepting online applications for the position Air Permit & Implementation Specialist through 4/1/2023 at 11:59 p.m. (Central Time)  

The Air Permit & Implementation Specialist coordinates compliance with the San Francisco Bay Area Air Quality Management District and City of Richmond permits for new projects, including energy transition projects.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

• Provides work direction and quality assures permit applications and reports prepared by consultants.

• Advises project teams on environmental requirements for monitoring, process controls, data collection, equipment operation and maintenance procedural updates, and prepares operator training.

• Stewards implementation to ensure compliance during new equipment startup. Develops permit strategy and advises project teams on environmental design requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of working experience in air permitting (California)

• Experience with the oil and gas industry, environmental air permitting, environmental compliance implementation or air emissions reporting.

• Technical savvy with Microsoft Excel. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Air permitting and emissions estimation knowledge/experience for emission sources common to the refining industry is a plus.

• Project Management Experience is a plus

The anticipated salary range for this position is $97,800 - $ 168,400. The selected candidate’s compensation will be determined based on their skills, experience, and qualifications.
