About the position:

Chevron is seeking a highly skilled and visionary Enterprise Artificial Intelligence (AI) Technical Manager to lead local teams in the development and application of AI use cases that deliver business value. This role is based in India and presents a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of AI innovation within the energy sector.

Key responsibilities:

• Ensure work takes place in line with the latest Chevron standards as applicable

• Ensure adequate competent resources are allocated to the Chevron scopes and monitor onboarding and training for teams assigned to the Chevron ring fenced teams

• Encourage new ideas and adapt to change

• Enable others to develop beyond existing skillsets

• Proven experience in managing technical teams and delivering AI-driven projects

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team

• Excellent understanding of AI technologies and their practical applications in the business context

• Commitment to identifying and growing local talent, with a focus on team development and mentorship

• Agile methodology experience, with a track record of managing multiple workstreams effectively

• Proactively cultivates the talent pipeline to enable the business aspirations

• Comfortably and independently navigates through ambiguity and complexity to influence and deliver through platforms and respond to a dynamic business environment

• Identifies and removes barriers to achieving results

• Uses impactful data to track and drive performance

Required qualifications:

• Experience in the energy industry (preferably Oil and Gas)

• Strong influence skills, change leadership, and ability to inspire direct and indirect team members in a servant leadership capacity

• Fosters a positive team environment and works effectively with diverse stakeholders across organizational boundaries and levels to drive outcomes

• Adjusts behavior based on feedback and regularly provides feedback to others
