The Chevron Business Support Center (BASSC) located in Buenos Aires (Puerto Madero), Argentina, is accepting online applications for the position Software Engineer – Analytics Analyst (Web Developer). Successful candidates will join a successful multifunction service center with a workforce of more than 1,200 employees delivering business services and solutions across the globe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Continually building your business acumen in new areas 

  • Able to lead business facing requirements gathering meetings.

  • Design, build and maintainWeb application with visualizations (report, dashboards, etc.) used for Data Science solutions to meet business needs.

  • Build and design using standard tools; primarily React & Angular

  • Build data quality scrips necessary for data integrity across environments (SIT/Dev/UAT/Prod)

  • Leverage GIT repository for code and CI/CD pipelines for code deployment

Required Skills:

  • Experience with: React, Angular, Azure Functions,  .Net Core, Web Services, GraphQL, SQL Server

  • SQL coding - Ability to understand or write complex queries related to Microsoft SQL views, stored procedures & tables (Microsoft SQL Server Mgt. Studio) 

  • Experience working with software development teams providing application development and/or support.

  • Familiarity with software development methodologies and frameworks(e.g. DevOps, Agile, etc.)

  • Experience developing and debugging solutions using Microsoft technologies.

  • Strong written and interpersonal communications skills

  • Passionate about learning new technologies and collaborating with others to deliver results.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Microsoft Power Platform - primarily Power Bi, secondary Power Apps, Power Flows, etc. 

  • Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Data Brick, Azure Synapse, Python, Spark, etc., and knowledge in older toolsets (MS SQL Server, MS SSIS, IBM DataStage, etc.).

  • Practitioner of Agile/SAFe practices

  • Experienced with Azure DevOps (ADO) tool for work management (EPIC/Feature/Stories/Risks/Bugs/etc.)

  • Ability to navigate, comprehend, and/or create IT system mapping documents (source to target maps)
