Provides knowledge and expertise in fixed equipment including rotating equipment, engines, pumps, piping, valves and vessels, including inspection, troubleshooting and repair.

• Keep all systems running stable, smooth, and secure.
• Manage equipment/application commissioning, modification, replacement, and/or upgrade projects.
• Ensure all systems comply with related regulations and company strategy.
• Work closely with business departments, and support business running via IT technologies.
• Build, install and upgrade PCs, Servers, network switches, wireless networks, and peripheral devices (such as printers, scanners) in accordance with Chevron standards and China government regulations.
• Perform information technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) system administration tasks, monitor, and maintain IT/OT system performance for PCs, Servers, Printers, and network equipment in the business network including the computer room hosting the equipment.
• Troubleshoot PC, server, printer, and network incidents and provide analysis and follow-up support. Escalate complex issues to appropriate support teams for resolutions. Record, update, and document requests using ServiceNow, Chevron’s IT service desk system.
• Ensure all documentation, evergreen procedures, and compliance tasks (e.g., Service-Now) for the IT/OT systems are completed and up to date. Perform IT hardware and software license inventory management.
• Liaise with vendors for the installation, maintenance & monitoring of Networking and computer rooms infrastructure.
• Manage or Support IT/OT related projects.
• Support other project managers on IT concur process.
• Align and work closely with PCN (Process Control Network) teams both regional and international to share insights and get infrastructure support as needed.
• Any other tasks assigned by supervisor.

• At least 5 years' experience in systems maintenance.
• At least 5 years' experience in project management.
• Experience in collaborating with various development teams and vendors, both domestically and internationally, including the ability to travel to domestic locations.
• Ability to communicate technical issues across a wide variety of audiences.
• Ability to communicate with business, analyze and design business requirements, provide technical solutions, and write relevant technical documents.
• Familiar with a mainstream database technology: the MYSQL/SQL server/Oracle
• Maintaining positive relationships with internal customers and external partners, identifying business needs, addressing feedback, and identifying solutions for issues that arise.
• Effective communication and coordination skills in English and Mandarin, quick learning ability and teamwork spirit, rigorous work attitude and desire for self-improvement.
• Familiar with Windows OS (Operating System), MCSE is a plus.
• Familiar with Cisco network equipment, CCNA/CCNP is a plus.
• Familiarity with Linux is a plus.
• Familiarity with SAP is a plus.
• Familiarity with the Warehouse Management System is a plus.
• Familiarity in Distributed Control Systems like Yokogawa is a plus.
• Familiarity with Palo Alto Network OS is a plus.
• Familiarity with VMWare is a plus.
• Well oral and written English.
