Buenos Aires shared services center (BASSC)
Buenos Aires Shared Services Center (BASSC) is a global operation offering Finance, IT, Marketing, HR, and Procurement and Contracting services to support Chevron´s operations.
BASSC was established in 2006 to initially provide Finance Accounting Services to Chevron’s Latin America downstream business. Since then, BASSC has experienced a significant and continuous growth, expanding the services to Chevron operating companies, business units and corporate departments in over 18 countries, primarily located in North and Latin America.
In 2010, Chevron IT joined the center to provide IT application and infrastructure services to support Chevron companies worldwide. BASSC IT has evolved to become a tech hub for Chevron´s global IT organization and is positioned to provide cost effective, near time zone support for Chevron entities in the Americas and across the broader, global enterprise. In addition, Downstream services support joined BASSC in 2017, HR services went live in 2019 and Procurement in 2020.
We are currently around 800 finance, downstream, procurement, HR, and IT professionals, working in a dynamic and challenging environment, willing to anticipate and exceed the expectations of our clients, and developing a professional career in a world class organization.

exploration and production (upstream)

Upstream positions can be located in Buenos Aires - the country's capital and in Neuquen - which houses some Onshore Upstream Businesses. This scholarship program is designed to assist undergraduates pursuing their studies in engineering. Eligible candidates should be enrolled in a petroleum engineering program.
