Operations and Maintenance Career Areas
Operations
Operators and Field Specialists at Chevron assume the responsibility of monitoring and optimizing all production process variables, ensuring that all production equipment is operating at peak reliability and efficiency, and also acquiring and storing data.
Maintenance
Maintenance and Mechanics are responsible for working in Process Plant and Instrument Shop environments. They perform troubleshooting, preventive, calibration, testing, and predictive, and corrective maintenance activities. They also, disassemble repairs and assemble and install equipment as required.
Instrumentation and Electrical
I&E technicians manage and execute IE&C operations. This includes, device installation, calibration, work on low & medium voltage systems, PLC installation, configuration, troubleshooting, R&D, training of customers, PCN operations, resource planning and design support, etc.
