The job responsibilities shall include but are not limited to the following:

Manage a portfolio of assigned categories to support China Oronite business

  • Category analysis – conducts supply market analysis and market benchmarking.

  • Develop country’s annual contracting plan to align with business plan objectives. Regular engagement with stakeholders to review and prioritize projects.

  • Develop procurement strategies to execute sustainable cost savings for the business. Ensure that strategic sourcing principles are consistently used to drive best practices.

  • Sourcing and negotiation - utilizes strategic sourcing process and techniques to ensure competitive advantage.  Leads negotiations or assist the lead negotiator in developing and applying appropriate negotiation strategies and tactics.

  • Write contracts. Implementation of agreements and integration of key suppliers - develop transition plans and oversees implementation of new supply arrangements in conjunction with relevant business experts.

  • Supplier performance monitoring. Develop mechanism and metrics to hold suppliers accountable for performance and delivery.

  • Ongoing supplier and contract management - develops supplier relationships to ensure that cost reduction and value creation are ongoing activities. Utilizes strategic cost management tools and trend forecasts to assist in maximizing value of supplier relationships and contracts.

  • Set annual cost improvement targets and track results.

Provides functional guidance to the business stakeholders and drives P2P compliance

  • Executing end-to-end procurement process, in alignment and compliant with the company policies and procedures.

  • Acts as a procurement advisor providing category guidance and implementation of global/regional initiatives at a localized level and provide functional guidance to business stakeholders when required.

  • Provide P2P training and work closely with stakeholders to increase P2P fluency.

Support Regional Category Managers in driving cost management opportunities and special projects for the business

  • Work collaboratively as a business partner to explore and implement any cost savings and/or efficiency management opportunities.

  • Regularly communicates plans and progress to ensure alignment and influence the broad adoption of cost reduction strategies.

  • Drive synergy and enterprise sourcing, including low-cost country sourcing.

  • Support special projects, i.e., sustainability programs.

  • 指定年度成本改善目标并跟踪执行结果.

给与业务部门用户提供采购政策及流程要求的指导并推动采购执行合规性

  • 按照公司采购政策和要求执行采购流程.

  • 作为采购专员就特定品类向业务部门用户提供该品类采购指导和实施全球/区域项目在本地实施支持并在需要时向业务部门用户提供指导.

  • 组织采购政策要求及流程的培训,与业务部门配合贯彻采购政策.

支持区域品类经理探索优化成本管理机会以及完成特定项目

  • 与业务部门配合,探索和实施潜在的成本节约和/或提高效率的机会.

  • 定期为成本削减战略广泛实施与业务部门沟通.

  • 推动公司低成本集中协同采购战略.

  • 支持特定项目与业务可持续发展.

Job Requirements:

EN:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or related fields.  

  • At least 3 years of Procurement experience in a multinational company environment.

  • Have an in-depth understanding of category management, with experience in category planning, contract management, supplier management and possess strong negotiation skills.

  • Proven experience and knowledge in site facility management, maintenance and repair, MRO, engineering services, capital projects, logistics.

  • Experience in developing / applying total cost ownership (TCO), should cost modeling and other category management techniques in strategic sourcing.

  • Knowledge in commercial, financial analysis, and contract law associated with procurement activities.

  • Strong analytical and project management skills.

  • Good team player and strong drive for performance and results.

  • Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills. Fluency in English is a must.

  • E-Procurement knowledge - GEP / SAP capability is a plus.

CN:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or related fields. 全日制本科毕业并取得学士学位,主修工程、机械、商业或相关专业。 

  • At least 3 years of Indirect Procurement experience in a multinational company environment. 3年以上服务于欧美跨国公司从事采购工作经验。

  • Have an in-depth understanding of category management, with experience in category planning, contract management, supplier management and possess strong negotiation skills. 熟练掌握采购的品类管理,具备品类管理计划、招标、议价、合同管理、供应商业绩考核管理等方面的经验,熟练掌握采购流程具有较强的商务谈判能力。

  • Proven experience and knowledge in site facility management, plant maintenance, MRO, engineering services and capital projects有制造业设施管理、设备设施维修维护、MRO、工程服务、施工建设项目及合同物流管理等采购工作经验。

  • Experience in developing / applying total cost ownership (TCO), should-cost modeling and other category management techniques in strategic sourcing 在战略采购项目中熟练使用成本分析模型和其他品类管理技能,具备成本竞争性分析、控制采购成本能力。
