Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

- Supports the creation and execution of the Annual Contracting and Procurement Plan to ensure alignment with EM business plan and budget.
- Analyzes service requirements to determine sourcing strategies, conducts supplier selections through sourcing processes or direct negotiations following Chevron Global Technology Services (CGLOBETEC) and Corporate guidelines. Ensures safety, competitive price, and technical specifications to obtain best overall total cost of ownership when selecting a supplier.
- Prepares and executes contracts, securing the required approvals. Selects the appropriate contract model and contracting strategy. Supports EMs in post award contract administration.
- Works closely with end user departments to ensure service requirements are clearly planned, organized and met. Develops cohesive working relationships with co-workers and Empresa Mixta (EM) customers to facilitate the accomplishment of the required tasks.
- Performs contracting of services using eSourcing systems to satisfy the requirements associated with wells for new drilling programs and existing wells. 
- Supports the customers with compliance related tasks within the contracting process including supplier due diligence related to HES, compliance, IP and finance capabilities.
- Tracks and monitors supplier performance and drives improvements through proactive engagement with suppliers and stakeholders, including Service Quality Management (SQM) sessions.
- Ensures objectives of customer groups are clear and understood by the suppliers and the day-to-day service support for wells related operations is effectively managed.
- Performs negotiations and settlement of contractual disputes.  Seeks advice on contractual interpretation with legal counsel.
- Ensures that a valid database of Contracts & Service Orders is maintained including records of amendments, and relevant documentation related to sourcing process and award strategy. Ensures that a reliable document retention and retrieval system is in place.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor´s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or Business Administration. 

  • Must be proficient in English, written and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Analytic and Proficient in digital tools (Microsoft software, Power Bi, Power Apps).

  • Teamwork and customer service focus (Capacity to provide response to several end users).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in SCM process: sourcing, contracting, market, business analysis.

  • Experience with any SCM system / software like SMART.

  • SCM Knowledge: experienced with supply chain practices and understanding of how contracting supports Category Management and Invoice Processing.

  • Unit price analysis / Cost management.

  • Experience in the Wells Category is preferred.

Relocation may be considered.

International Considerations:

Expatriate assignments will not be considered.
