About the position:

The Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Data Administrator is located within a wider team responsible for facilitating and processing master data changes and as well as implementing CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) configuration changes.

This CMMS Data Administrator role specifically supports the JDE (JD Edwards) CMMS. The role primarily manages the approval process and execution of CMMS Add/Change/Delete (ACD) requests as part of the Master Data Management process. ACDs change master data most often associated with as assets preventive maintenance and inspection program (The Maintenance Build).

The role works collaboratively with cross-functional operations facing teams both within Business Units and wider ENGINE inclusive of: CMMS Teams, Core Maintenance Planning, Turnaround Maintenance Planning, Reliability Engineering, Fixed Equipment & Inspection, Designs Engineering, Process Engineering.

This role reports to the CMMS Team Leader at Chevrons ENGINE.

Key responsibilities:

Data Administration and Management

  • Manage the approval process and execution of CMMS Add/Change/Delete (ACD) requests as part of the Master Data Management process. Achieve primarily through administration and use of Equipment & Maintenance Data Management (EMDM) tool

  • Provide CMMS and EMDM support to end-users as required

  • Conduct equipment and maintenance master data loading activities from various business systems

  • Creation of User Defined Code (UDC) entries (including Shutdown Codes)

  • Administer EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) master data management processes and ensure data complies with the ABU CMMS Data Standard

  • Administer CMMS interface tools and associated systems (Promethius, Viziya, DevMan, EMDM, relevant BU Datalake repositories e.g. S3)

  • Administer CMMS roles & user authority levels

Training:

  • Ensure Training Materials, User Guides are available and up to date

  • Provision of CMMS (JDE & EMDM) training to relevant BU stakeholders especially Operations, Maintenance & Reliability, Engineering"

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 5-10 years of relevant CMMS Master Data experience required

  • Strong proficiency in CMMS products JD-Edwards (JDE) is essential

  • Additional experience with Maximo, SAP or SAP4HANA is highly desirable

  • Degree, Trade or Certificate qualified in relevant Maintenance, Engineering, Data Science or IT Discipline

  • Experience with Operations, Maintenance and Reliability within Industrial Complex Processing Facilities. LNG, Refining Petrochemical, Offshore Platform assets

Chevron ENGINE supports global operations, supporting business requirements across the world. Accordingly, the work hours for employees will be aligned to support business requirements. The standard work week will be Monday to Friday. Working hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm or 1:30pm to 10:30pm.
