About the position

Chevron ENGINE has an exciting opportunity for a Financial Modelling & Analytics Specialist to join the ENGINE Innovation team; this role will be based in Chevron’s office in Bengaluru.

Chevron ENGINE supports global operations, and work hours are aligned to business needs. Standard working hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday to Friday. These may evolve based on operational or business requirements.

Financial Modelling & Analytics Specialist buildsrobustanalyticalmodelstoperformadvancedfinancialplanning&sensitivity analysis across scenarios, to aid Chevron’s ENGINE in offering unparalleled support under complex and evolving business conditions. This includes design of financial models that quantify risk/reward across strategic business choices, and surface proactive insights. The role will involve collaboration with global stakeholders across operations, enterprise planning, and finance to shape future-ready strategy that influence capital allocation, portfolio optimization, and performance management.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial models (e.g., cash flow forecasts, NPV/IRR, capital planning) to support core business analysis, including translation of operational metrics into financial metrics
• Ensure high performance standards with strategic back-testing to validate assumptions and improvepredictivestability
• Partnerwithanalytics,finance,andoperationstoalignoninputs,datarefreshcadence,andresult interpretation, while adhering to pre-established global IT standards
• Implement scenario frameworks and stress tests to manage scenario libraries for rapid what-if analysis,andpro-activemodelupgradation
• Maintainauditability,versioning,andlineageformodelcode,assumptions,andoutputs;curate certified, documented models in the catalog
• As required, extend models with advanced capabilities (e.g., stochastic drivers, real options valuation,robustsensitivityandtornadoanalyses)toinformhigh-impactoperationalandstrategic decisions

About you

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Finance/Economics, Computer Science, or related field
• 6–10 years in decision analysis, financial modeling, or advanced analytics, with a track record of producing models that support executive leadership decision-making
• Expertiseinadvancedfinancialscenarioplanning,sensitivityanalysis,andprobabilisticmodeling, Experience integrating diverse data sources for enterprise-level insights
• StrongPythonandSQLskillsforsimulation,analytics,andautomation
• Abilitytoquantifyandcommunicateuncertaintyandtrade-offstonon-technicalaudiencesusing business language
