ChevronENGINEhas an exciting opportunity foraFleet Personnel Management Coordinatorto join theSubsea Marine & Shippingfunctionteam. Reporting to theManager,thisrole will be based inChevron’sofficein Bengaluru.
Chevron ENGINE supports global operations, and work hours are aligned to business needs. Standard working hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday to Friday. These may evolve based on operational or business requirements.
Key responsibilities
• Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, and personnel updates in Workday for mariners and international hires.
•Maintainsystem access controls, including USB permissions, DOA (Delegation of Authority) limits, and 3PC (3rd Party Compliance) access assignments.
• Support expense report processing and liaise on tax compliance issues for expatriates.
• Collaborate with team leads toidentifyand resolve administrative bottlenecks. •Assistinoptimizingworkflows as team structures evolve.
• Provide backup support for strategic Manning and Leaning & Development (L&D) initiatives as needed.
•Maintainand update distribution lists for Learning and Development Officer (LDO), Training, and Officer Development Program (ODP) stakeholders.
• Manage SharePoint sites for Manning, L&D, and ODP, ensuring secure access and proper organization of program materials.
• Coordinate badge and computer requests for new hires and ODP participants.
• Create and distribute ODP schedules; communicate with stakeholders across locations.
• Draft ODP letters detailing program expectations and contact information.
• Support in preparing immigration letters for business visa support.
•FacilitateSupervisor Skills Assimilation sessions and Diversity Equity and Inclusion.
• Record and track promotion criteria and feedback for ODP candidates.
• Serve as the primary contact for Vessel Management Team (VMT) and officersregardingtraining access and issues onboard.
•Maintainthe Training Matrix and COMPASS Critical Competencies, ensuring proper assignment by rank in the Ocean Learning Platform (OLP).
• Manage vendor accounts and training assignments forSafebridge(ECDIS) and Intoximeters (BAT) modules.
• Record completions of training done outside OLP and update officer records accordingly.
•Liaise with Corp Compliance and IT to coordinate new training needs and resolve platform issues.

• Familiarity with maritime personnel processes and training platforms like OLP is a plus.
