As a Workflow Transition Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in managing the seamless transfer of work processes from current business to our operations in India. This position ensures that transitions are executed efficiently, maintaining Chevron�s high standards of quality and operational excellence. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams both in India and global locations, oversee training initiatives, and monitor progress to drive successful workflow transition outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan Workflow Transitions:

  • 1. Assist with the development of comprehensive transition plans detailing steps, timelines, and resources needed for each workflow transition phase

    2. Assist with the establishment of clear objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) in alignment with Chevron�s standards to measure transition success

    3. Define transition milestones and track progress to enable continuous improvement

  • Coordinate Teams:

  • 1. Identify critical interfaces between Chevron ENGINE and Business Units (BUs), flagging potential risks and ensuring smooth transfer of processes and capabilities

    2. Collaborate with teams in the United States and India to align goals, expectations, and deliverables, ensuring all parties are informed and engaged

    3. Facilitate communication between teams through regular meetings, status updates, and progress reports to ensure a unified approach

  • Manage Training:

  • 1. Ensure training sessions for the receiving team in India covering all aspects of the transferred workflows are completed in a timely manner

    2. Partner with global teams to monitor the development transition playbooks, detailed training plans, and transition readiness criteria

    3. Assess the effectiveness of training programs and make adjustments to improve knowledge transfer and skill acquisition

  • Monitor Progress:

  • 1. Track and report progress of workflow transitions using project management tools and software, ensuring all tasks are completed on schedule

    2. Provide regular updates to stakeholders, highlighting achievements, challenges, and next steps

    3. Identify, escalate, and resolve issues that arise during the transition process, working closely with relevant teams to implement solutions, especially the US-based teams

  • Workflow Transition Manager:

  • 1. Monitor quality in receiving and sending sites across KPIs, ensuring alignment with business plan expectations

    2. Aggregate business unit feedback and escalate issues as needed

  • Quality Assurance:

  • 1. Develop and implement quality control measures to maintain high performance levels and address any deviations promptly

    2. Gather feedback from teams and stakeholders to continuously improve the quality of the transferred processes

    3. Partner with global teams to ensure systems are in place for continuous workflow optimization post-transition

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor�s degree (B.E./B.Tech.) in Operations, Engineering, or related field from deemed (AICTE) university

  • Experience in technical area in an operating or a design engineering firm

  • Proven experience in managing complex workflow processes or broad implementation projects, with a track record of successful outcomes

  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse stakeholder groups to plan, execute, and oversee processes

  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to work effectively with diverse teams

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability

  • Proficiency in using basic project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project

  • Knowledge of process improvement methodologies, such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile

  • Oil and Gas industry experience preferred
