Global Business Services - Buenos Aires (GBS BA), located in Buenos Aires (Puerto Madero), Argentina, with more than 1,800 employees, provides solutions in the areas of Finance, IT, Downstream, Human Resources, Procurement, Audit and Legal to the global organization and is launching its Internship Program. 

The selected candidates will join the GBS BA IT team. 

Your initial responsibilities will include either one of these:

  • Support initiatives related to integrating AI and machine-learning capabilities. This includes assisting with research, documentation, configuration, and testing of new AI features, as well as providing analysis and support for proof‑of‑concept solutions. The scope of work also covers collaboration with engineering team members, contributing to technical evaluations, and helping prepare materials for internal stakeholders. 
  • Support administrative duties in HFM (Hyperion Financial Management), such as user access reviews and SOX controls. Support month end close effort by engaging HFM end users to answer questions. Participate in HFM related effort. Technical and functional testing. 
  • Support the team in creating, configuring, and maintaining low code solutions within the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem. This role involves assisting with design, configuration, functional adjustments, documentation, and basic application troubleshooting. 
  • Expand the team’s capacity to prototype, test, and operationalize Copilot Studio agents to help design and develop generative‑AI agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio. Activities include building conversational flows, connecting knowledge bases, configuring semantic search, integrating external data sources, defining deterministic workflows, and supporting solution deployment across dev/test environments. Support strategic capability building while allowing senior team members to focus on architecture, governance, and enterprise‑scale deployments. 

  • Introduction to .NET Framework and .NET Core development. Hands‑on exposure to Azure Functions and Logic Apps. Learning frontend development with Angular and Razor. Understanding and practicing SQL fundamentals. Exposure to UI/UX design principles and responsive design. Learning the basics of Progressive Web App (PWA) development. Getting familiar with Git and continuous integration pipelines.

  • Assist in building and configuring data ingestion pipelines to move data from Systems of Record into cloud environments (e.g., Azure Data Lake, SQL, or other internal data stores). Support ETL/ELT (Extract, Transform, Load) tasks under supervision, including data extraction through APIs, SQL queries, connectors, or scripts. (Aligned with responsibilities of full Data Engineers using ADF, Databricks, APIs, SQL, etc. 

Requirements

  • Advanced students of computer engineering and related careers. 
  • Fluent in written and oral English. 

Hours per week: 20 hours. 

Internship duration: 12 months, with the possibility of extending for 6 more months. 

Location: Puerto Madero, CABA 

Buenos Aires, Buenos Aires F.D.
