With more than 1,800 employees, Global Business Services - Buenos Aires (GBS BA), located in Buenos Aires (Puerto Madero), Argentina, provides solutions in the areas of Finance, IT, Downstream, Human Resources, Procurement, Audit and Legal to the global organization and is launching its Internship Program.
The selected candidates will join the GBS BA Supply Chain team.
Initial Responsibilities
- Data Analysis & Insights: Support analysis of operational and procurement data related to the acquisition of goods and services (Contracting, Buying, Logistics, Material Management), contributing insights that help improve processes and decision-making.
- Reporting & Presentations: Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings, trends, and insights to internal stakeholders.
- Operational Support: Support Supply Chain activities, including purchase order tracking and status follow-up, catalog maintenance support, and coordination related to invoicing and payment processes.
Additional Responsibilities
- Dashboard & Data Visualization Support: Support the development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators and operational metrics.
- Vendor Management Support: Assist in vendor performance analysis, sourcing activities, and supplier follow-ups to support quality, cost, and delivery objectives.
- Price & Market Analysis: Leverage Market Intelligence tools to support benchmarking activities and contribute to market briefings that enable informed sourcing decisions.
- Process Optimization & Digital Innovation: Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through digital tools such as Power Automate, Power Apps, and other Power Platform solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced students of Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Economics, or related fields.
- Advanced English proficiency, both written and oral.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to convert data into actionable insights.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and DAX for data analysis and visualization.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
- Proactive approach to optimizing supply chain management processes.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks accurately with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI Service, Power Apps, Automate, Dataflows).
- Background in Data Analytics within Supply Chain Management (ERP Systems, GEP SMART).
Hours per week: 20 hours.
Internship duration: 12 months, with the possibility of extending for 6 more months.
