IT Analyst

Chevron Global Business Services (GBS), located in Buenos Aires (Puerto Madero), Argentina, is accepting online applications for the position of Integration Specialist. Successful candidates will join the IT Company which is part of a successful multifunction service center with a workforce of more than 1800 employees delivering business services and solutions across the globe.
The IT Analyst will be responsible for analyzing business needs and describing those needs to assist in the design and development of information systems to meet the company’s needs. This role involves working closely with various departments to identify and resolve IT-related issues, ensuring the smooth operation of our technology systems and infrastructure. This position will support the Terminal Management sector, covering Terminal Management applications.
Responsibilities:
Analyze and evaluate IT systems and processes to identify areas for improvement.
Design and implement efficient IT solutions to meet business requirements.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document system requirements.
Perform system testing and validation procedures.
Provide technical support and training to end-users.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
Maintain and update system documentation.
Ensure data security and compliance with company policies.
Required Qualifications:
Experience working with Azure Integration Services: Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid, Functions.
Knowledge of REST APIs, SOAP services, and microservices architecture.
Experience with Azure DevOps (CI/CD pipelines, release management, automated deployments).
Understanding of authentication and security concepts (OAuth, JWT, encryption).
Knowledge of JSON, XML, and data transformation concepts.
Familiarity with event-driven architectures and messaging patterns.
Programming skills in C#, .NET, or scripting languages (PowerShell). +5 years
Experience building Power BI reports and dashboards.
Hands-on knowledge of Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience troubleshooting, supporting, and optimizing integration solutions in production environments.
Ability to work with global teams and communicate effectively in a technical environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum / Kanban).
Experience documenting functional and technical specifications.
Familiarity with testing methodologies and tools.
Experience managing multiple priorities and working in a fast-paced environment.
Strong collaboration and communication skills across cross-functional teams.
Experience working under enterprise governance frameworks and security/compliance standards.
Experience integrating with enterprise or legacy systems is a plus.
Experience in the Oil & Gas industry – downstream (nice to have, not mandatory).
Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).
