Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of Air Specialist located in Greeley, CO, United States, through February 9, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time).

This role will support Colorado operations by providing air permitting and air compliance technical knowledge from the Greeley, CO office. Responsibilities include preparation and review of air construction permit applications and support for state and federal inspections and data requests.  Additional responsibilities may include participating in the development of air compliance management tools that are inclusive of state and federal air permitting and emissions reporting requirements.  Deep knowledge and understanding of state and federal regulations will be required to provide guidance for operations and construction teams/projects.  The role will also require and include cursory involvement with: operating permit application preparation and review, Title V SAR requirements, OOOO/a/b/c compliance support, GHG reporting, ONGAEIR reporting (COEI), CDPHE records requests, air dispersion modeling, NSPS JJJJ/ MACT ZZZZ engine compliance , NSPS KKKK turbine compliance, Colorado Reg 7, Colorado Reg 3 , Colorado Reg 26, Colorado Reg 22.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

  • Colorado NSR air permitting, Colorado Title V air permitting
  • Colorado air compliance (Reg 3, reg 7, reg 26, reg 22) support for records requests
  • NSPS JJJJ, IIII, KKKK, OOOO/a/b/c, Kb, Kc compliance
  • MACT ZZZZ, HH compliance
  • GHG reporting
  • ONGAEIR reporting / COEI

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • 5 Years experience in air permitting and compliance
  • Skilled at using MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and Master of Science in Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • 10 years experience in Colorado air permitting and compliance
  • Skilled at using MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, PowerBI, Copilot, ACTs, ProMax, Power Query, Power Apps, BEEST, AERMOD
  • XXXXXXX

  • The anticipated salary range for this position is$133,600 - $230,900
