Reporting to Direct & Indirect Sales Manager, responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
Sales and Business Development:
Manage & provide consultancy to the designated distributors.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sell-in and sell-out targets of the distributors which are assigned by the Company.
Support distributors on MCP to improve DSP productivity.
Identify and target potential customers in the assigned territory to generate new business opportunities.
Conduct market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and competitors' activities.
Present and promote our lubricant products to customers, highlighting their features, benefits, and competitive advantages.
Ensure display of products at the outlets, the Company sales and promotion programs are properly implemented.
Ensure Caltex brand in the assigned areas complies with the Company standards.
Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers, distributors, and other stakeholders.
Provide excellent customer service and support, addressing customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Conduct regular business reviews with distributors to identify opportunities for growth and ensure customer retention.
Territory Management:
Develop a thorough understanding of the assigned territory, including market trends, customer profiles, and potential growth areas.
Plan and prioritize sales activities to maximize productivity and achieve sales objectives.
Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing, supply chain, and technical support, to ensure seamless customer experience and effective product delivery.
Handle, resolve problems and complaints including channel conflicts.
Reporting and Analysis:
Ensure accurate data in DMS.
Provide sales forecast to ensure sufficient product supply in assigned areas
Monthly do pricing in PMM system
Prepare regular sales reports, and analysis for management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and product knowledge to enhance sales effectiveness and stay competitive.
Ensure credits granted to distributors and collected from distributors in accordance with Company policy.
Competency development:
Accountable for personal development plan to enhance competencies continuously
Coach and develop the distributor sales team to build the competencies required to deliver the business plan.
Requirements
Matured Vietnamese with Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing, engineering, or mechanical.
Proven track record of success in lubricants sales, FMCG or a similar field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
2-3 years of B2C (indirect) sales experience in a multi-national company is an advantage.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers and negotiate effectively.
Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong business acumen and understanding of market dynamics.
Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Technical knowledge of lubricants and related products is a plus.
Fluent in English and Vietnamese, both speaking and writing.
Computer literacy (MS Word, excel, Power Points, DMS, PMM, IBP).
Ability to travel.
