  • Analyzes, assesses, and improves Valves and Flange asset integrity, reliability, and preventative as well as predictive maintenance programs. 
  • Manages critical valve maintenance program for the Business Unit - identification, preventative maintenance program development and sustainment, and corrective repair for all assets in the Business Unit.
  • Leads identification and implementation of centralized vs facility led maintenance work activities for fixed equipment and valves across the Business Unit.
  • Performs/participates in inspections, reliability incidents investigations, optimizations, and mechanical integrity reviews; incorporates findings into the asset care strategy.      
  • Performs routine tasks independently.  General supervision of non-routine work.  Has basic knowledge of Chevron policies and practices.
  • Safety - Holds safety as a core value. Complies with safety requirements and expects others to do the same. Experience in industrial settings with a high level of risk recognition. Experience with Safe Work practices and procedures such as Isolation of Hazardous Energy, Confined Space Entry, Hot Work and Permit to Work systems. 
  • Technical Knowledge - Experience with fixed equipment and Valve maintenance and troubleshooting. Broad knowledge of piping, fixed equipment, and valve systems technologies, materials, welding, and reliability. Well versed in Work Order Management and Preventative maintenance platforms, ITPM development, valve SME.  Experience in Operations / Maintenance / Engineering Support.  Experience in supporting fixed equipment and valves maintenance activities and support of Turnaround (TAR) work scope planning and execution. Strong problem resolution skills. Proven track record of maintaining the reliability of valves, piping, and fixed equipment systems in high pressure.
  • Teamwork - Strong demonstrated teamwork skills, strong communication skills. Strong initiative, learning capacity, and mentoring ability required. Proven ability to transfer knowledge and skills to less experienced employees. Able to work in a multilingual-cultural environment. Ability to work closely with Maintenance, Operations and Facilities Engineering to troubleshoot issues and solve complex problems.

Requirement:

  • 5+ years experience in maintenance.  Knowledge of valve types, piping systems, pressure equipment, and materials.
  • Experience with work order management, preventative maintenance and repairs.
  • Experience in work order data management / CMMS systems.
  • Ability to read P&IDs, isometrics, and maintenance procedures.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety as a core value.
  • Trained in high‑risk work practices (LOTO, confined space, hot work).
  • Required to travel to offshore and onshore facilities.
  • Mechanical trade qualification or equivalent technical certification - preferred.
  • Vendor or OEM valve maintenance experience - preferred.
  • Proven experience with valve maintenance, flange assembly, and bolted joint work - preferred.
  • Competence in flange assembly techniques including hand torque and hydraulic tightening - preferred.
  • Familiarity with flange management systems and joint integrity requirements - preferred.

Special Considerations:

  • This is a 14/14 rotational position based on Leviathan
  • Required Fit for Duty for offshore travel.
  • This position is based in Israel and is open to candidates who are legally authorized to work in Israel.
