Support Shale & Tight wells spend categories. Responsible for conducting various forms of analysis for Supply Chain Management team including spend, business, financial, supplier and market analysis. Develops or assists in the development of category plan documents, business cases, and other presentations with emphasis on clear presentation and interpretation of data gathered.
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
Develops category plans, strategic sourcing of goods and services, manages supplier performance, and facilitates joint process improvements with suppliers to achieve the lowest total cost of ownership (TCO).
Build strong collaborative relationships across functions, assets, and key suppliers. Develop and execute joint strategic roadmaps with these functions and key suppliers as One Team to drive performance, innovation, and competitive outcomes.
Establish and maintain commercial terms, rates, compensation methods, best practices, and market intelligence to ensure top quartile cost, schedule, reliability, and predictability.
Strategic thinking and business acumen- able to keep the “big picture” in mind while making decisions that are often long term in nature. Always aware of critical value drivers.
Works with business partners to define procurement strategies for given categories of spend based on market analysis and demand forecasting.
Supports medium sized clients/customers and makes significant contributions to more complex projects under periodic supervision.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of supplier performance management experience
Ability to understand, develop, and implement global portfolio strategies
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related area
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree of Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or Engineering
Experience in developing, negotiating, and managing large, complex contracts
Ability to effectively communicate at varying organizational levels both internally and externally
Excels in demanding situations, consistently demonstrating composure and adaptability under pressure.
Relocation Options:
Relocation is not offered for this role. Only local candidates will be considered.
International Considerations:
Expatriate assignments will not be considered.
