We are currently seeking high-energy professionals who are customer-focused to join our dynamic organization as an NGL/LPG Operations Scheduler. This role is for rail fleet coordination/rail scheduling with the goal of providing safe and reliable flow assurance for Chevron’s Upstream and Downstream and Chemicals business while maximizing commercial value.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Schedule railcars to gather, transport, and deliver NGL/LPGs for Chevron's Upstream, Downstream and Trading businesses in North America

  • Lead day-to-day railcar scheduling and operations including nominations, system balancing, and journey management

  • Record all related purchase, sale and exchange activities in the trading and rail management systems

  • Collaborate on and communicate operational costs, optimization initiatives, and best practice learning

  • Collaborate with railroads, Rail Transportation & Operations team, and others to mitigate operational risk, prevent incidents, and respond to any incidents that may occur

  • Partner with traders to manage physical inventory positions and recommend trade activity based on interactions with third parties

Required qualifications: 

  • Rail scheduling or fleet management experience

  • On-call availability for evening, weekend and holiday scheduling emergencies 

  • Team player and ability to work in fast-paced environment 

  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills 

  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills 

  • Excellent communication and customer management

Preferred qualifications: 

  • Experience in the NGL/LPG commodity space

  • Experience in a trading organization

  • Railtrac, eBill or similar platform experience

Relocation Options: 

Relocationmay beconsidered within Chevron parameters.

International Considerations: 

Expatriate assignmentswillnotbe considered.
