Inventory & Warehouse Management
- Coordinate with the Planning team for Distribution Resource Planning (DRP) to ensure smooth material flow across the network
- Ensure proper control and handling of Finished Products, including small packs and drums
- Perform daily stock reconciliation at all warehouses to maintain accuracy and prevent discrepancies
- Oversee warehouse operations and implement best practices for storage and safety
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste
Contractor’s Fleet & Cost Optimization
- Liaise with suppliers for daily dispatches and coordinate with contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective fleet operations
- Collaborate with internal teams such as Operations, Planning and Procurement to optimize transportation costs and improve overall efficiency
- Monitor contractor performance and implement strategies for cost reduction without compromising service quality
Customer Handling and sales support
- Coordinate with external customers to ensure smooth communication regarding product deliveries
- Address and resolve customer issues promptly and satisfactorily, maintaining a high level of service quality
- Coordinate with sales representatives for scheduling and executing their product deliveries
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Responsibilities
- Ensure all operations comply with HSE and Operational Excellence (OE) principles.
- Enforce adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards across logistics and plant activities.
- Oversee forklift operations and vehicle movements within the plant to maintain safe practices.
- Provide training sessions for staff on basic HSE principles and related safety topics on a recurring basis.
Performance Monitoring
- Track key KPIs such as On-Time In-Full (OTIF), cost per shipment, productivity, and timeliness of deliveries
- Analyse logistics data to identify inefficiencies and implement corrective actions for continuous improvement
- Prepare periodic performance reports and recommend strategies to optimize distribution and logistics operations
