Financial Management and Oversight

• Provides expert council, mentoring and skill development around the most complex, new, and emerging accounting and financial issues.
• Drive efficiency by standardizing, digitizing, offshoring to Global Business Services (GBS)
• Ensures Integrity of financial consolidation processes
• Manage relationships with global support teams such as Compliance, GBS, Credit, IT, Legal and Tax.Drives utilization of services and influences BU priorities and needs ​

Leadership and people management

• Be an inspirational leader to direct reports and key stakeholders
• Responsible for setting and delivering performance goals to team

Tax reporting, statutory accounting, and compliance

• Manages and keeps oversight of the Statutory Account Filings, Tax Reporting and Compliance Environment in Belgium, Germany and Finland for 4 entities.
• Tax control framework - works together with tax team to ensure Tax compliance at all time
• Liaise with the DS&C Tax groups in London, US and external to ensure full tax compliance and adequate tax strategy is implemented, Direct and Indirect Tax, Manage PE Risk, BEPS, Ant hybrid, and any other legal requirement ​

• Active member of European Base Oils and Lubricants Leadership Team
