The Alen Mechanical Lead is responsible for mechanical systems maintenance and reliability. This position is based offshore Bioko Island Equatorial Guinea on the Alen Platform and reports to the Alen Maintenance Foreman.
Alen Mechanical Specialist Lead is responsible for the preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance and reliability activities on the Alen Platform.Leads and advises offshore mechanical team comprised of expats, nationals, and contractors in day-to-day activities to ensure work processes are implemented safely, efficiently, and as per standards and procedures.Serves as a recognized subject matter expert and mentor to other offshore maintenance personnel.Develop, review, and finalize planned activity schedules.Conduct CMMS (SAP S4Hana) activities including ordering, tracking, and charging of parts and creation and close out of maintenance orders.Provide Quality Assurance on maintenance activities conducted by others.Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions.Support root cause failure analyses and ensure corrective actions are implemented.Act as liaison between field personnel and functional support groups onshore.Contribute to the review and optimization of maintenance strategies, plans and procedures.Assist in the planning and implementation of turnaround scopes.Role model safe work practices and behaviors.Ensure achievement of assigned KPI’s and maintenance department goals.Fill various roles as necessary including but not limited to Maintenance Foreman, Lifeboat Captain/Commander, and Crane Operator.Actively focused on developing the skills and competencies of National technicians.This position rotates offshore Equatorial Guinea, nominally on a 28/28 or 35/35 schedule.
