Western Venezuela Finance organization, located in Maracaibo (Richmond office), Venezuela, is accepting online applications for the position of Projects and Digitalization Coordinator. Successful candidates will join the Finance & Business Services teams with a workforce of more than 110 employees delivering financial and business services solutions in Western Venezuela directly linked to the Chevron Venezuela organization.
The Projects and Digitalization Coordinator will generate opportunities to optimize and digitalize processes and monitor the progress of the finance and business services projects oriented to eliminate unnecessary tasks and optimize processes in close collaboration with other teams like IT, contracts, and procurement.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to::
• Interact with Corporate and Venezuela digital teams to be familiar with digital solutions to be implemented using Agile methodology in the Joint Ventures. 
• Develop a process to identify optimization and digital opportunities with focus on value creation. 
• Provide support to the entire Finance and Business Services team to leverage on digital solutions. 
• Enhance the process and tools to monitor the progress of the financial projects.
• Increase the digital capabilities of the team. 
• Build relationship with the Chevron Venezuela Agile team and other Joint Ventures to gain scale and make more attractive the opportunities for digital investments.
• Learn SAP processes and build relationship with CVP IT team to implement business solutions. 
• Develop, maintain and present a Digitalization Dashboard to Finance Manager.
• Participate in Internal Audits and Reviews to identify opportunities to enhance controls and optimize processes. 

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, CPA, finance, or industrial engineering. 
• 1 to 5 years of experience in financial processes with focus on technology. 
• Strong analytical and technical skills.
• Must be proficient in English.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a crossed-discipline and diverse environment. 
• Teamwork and customer service focus. 

Preferred Qualifications
• Agile, Excel modeling and Power MS applications experience is a plus.
• Experience with SAP and Smart.
• Joint Venture experience in Western Venezuela.
• Open to work in the field for short periods of time, as needed. Experience with contracting and procurement processes 

Relocation Options:

Relocation may be considered within Chevron parameters

International Considerations:
Expatriate assignments will not be considered.
