Provide HSE support to El Trapial field operations, including production, construction, and drilling & completions activities. This role focuses on incident prevention, particularly Significant Incident Factors (SIFs), by guiding the implementation of HSE processes that meet regulatory requirements and Chevron OE standards. Develop strong relationships with Chevron teams and contractors. Responsible for identifying HSE gaps and driving and managing improvement plans to ensure compliance and improve safety performance.
Responsibilities for this position may include, but are not limited to:
Provides HSE support across Chevron Argentina-operated assets and functions, including production, construction, wells, operations, maintenance, drilling, and completions.
Focuses on preventing health, safety, and environmental incidents by guiding the implementation of HSE processes that meet regulatory and Chevron standards. Must be able to provide direct support for the identification, implementation, and verification of safeguards across operations to ensure effective management and improved operational performance.
Build strong and collaborative relationships with Chevron and contractor supervision, field workforce, and process advisors peers. Capable to set clear expectations, observe safety performance, remove barriers, provide solutions, and align teams on shared goals and outcomes. Communicate clearly and transparently and support others.
Responsible for identifying HSE gaps and driving improvement plans to ensure compliance and enhance safety performance.
Handle Safeguards Management and Risk Assessments; Safe Work Practices and Motor Vehicle Safety; Incident investigation and report; HSE training and competency verification; Emergency Management; Contractors Management; Environmental Stewardship.
Required Qualifications
We are seeking an experienced HSE professional with the following qualifications:
Education: University degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE).
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in Oil & Gas operations, with solid experience in field HSE supervision.
Technical Knowledge:
Understanding of hazard identification and risk assessment processes associated with Oil & Gas operations.
Ability to clearly communicate complex technical aspects and expectations to internal and external stakeholders.
Leadership and Initiative:
Demonstrates a proactive and self-managed approach.
Ability to set priorities appropriately and maintain high performance levels in dynamic environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced English level.
Professional license in Neuquén or eligible to obtain it.
Highly proactive and self-starter.
Ability to achieve exceptional results.
Ability to be direct, decisive and accountable and consistent with our Chevron Way values.

Special Considerations
Significant presence is required at the work fronts where activities are being executed.
The operational base is El Trapial Field, Neuquén.
Work on a rotational schedule of 7x7 or 14x14.
