Job Description Summary

This roleis responsible for developing work orders with detailed instructions including drawings, and P&IDs. Other responsibilities include purchasing necessary materials for each job, performing field walks, and creating detailed estimates while understanding the interrelationships between job activities. 

The position collaborates with multidisciplinary work groups to gather and share information for comprehensive work plans. Additionally, the role involves working with the Scheduler to integrate job steps and define logical connections between various jobs. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provides knowledge in Plant Maintenance Turnaround Process (IMPacT).

  • Reviews work orders and determines required materials, equipment and resources to perform the job.

  • Provides detailed job steps and manhour estimates for work scopes. 

  • Collaborates with multi-disciplined work groups to develop detailed execution plans for Turnaround Maintenance activities.

  • Works closely with schedulers to import job steps into the master schedule with correct activity relationships and priorities.

What You Will Bring

Experience

  • Minimum 5years maintenance experience in a Refinery or similar complex process facility.

Qualification

  • BSc/HND (Second Class Honours, Upper Division/Upper Credit) in Engineering.

  • Project Management certification or equivalent on the job experience.

Expertise

  • Skilled in Process Operations

  • Competence in Project Management

  • Extensive knowledge of Personnel and Process Safety

  • Expert in development of work orders, job steps and manhour estimates

  • Proficient knowledge of the IMPacT Process for managing Turnaround Projects.

  • Demonstrated ability and experience in planning plant turnarounds. 

  • Proficient knowledge of all types of Fixed Equipment such as heat exchangers, reactors, furnaces, columns, drums, tanks and cooling towers.
