About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity foraCommercial Coordinatorwho will play a pivotal role in Enterprise Optimization by originating and executing commercial deals, managing transfer pricing structures, and ensuringaccurateandtimelyimplementation of commercial decisions across the value chain. The role combinesdeal‑making, commercial analysis,cross‑functionalcoordination, and governance oversight toprioritiseenterprise value outcomes.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:(add info here)
Originate, structure, and execute commercial deals end-to-end, leading negotiations to deliveroptimalvalue and balanced risk.
Identifyand quantify value-chainoptimisationopportunities acrosslogistics, terminal/infrastructureutilisation, and transport routes.
Lead development of commercial strategies and project business cases, including partner screening, partnering models, and go-to-market approaches.
Partner closely with Singapore-based regional teams (FuelsOptimisation, Trading, Infrastructure, and Origination) to align priorities and unlock integrated value.
Drive delivery of Chevron AustraliaDownstream’sshort- and mid-term commercial priorities, translating strategy into executable initiatives.
Own the opportunity pipeline—test assumptions,validatecustomer value propositions, and rapidly pivot or exit where strategic or commercial fit is notdemonstrated.
Support and enable key business units through the full commercial lifecycle: strategy setting, opportunity identification,prioritisation, evaluation, approvals, and execution.
Deliver commercial development outputs including economic/market analysis, deal structuring (business models and governance), and drafting/negotiation of contracts and commercial terms.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
Strong commercial and analytical capability—sound grounding in economics, value drivers, and market/competitor analysis toidentifypartners, customers, and sources of competitive advantage.
Demonstrated market insight—assess customer needs, competitor positioning, policy implications, and emerging trends to inform commercial decisions.
Preferred: technical understanding of Australian fuels and biofuels, including supply/demand flows, pricing and market dynamics, and the infrastructure/logisticsnetwork.
Proven stakeholder and issue management—able to align diverse priorities, surface key drivers, communicate clearly, and influence decisions at pace.
Collaborative team player with experience working effectively across diverse, distributed, and cross-functional teams.
Comfortable operating under pressure and time constraints—able toprioritise, manage complexity and ambiguity, and deliver high-quality outputs to tight deadlines.
