The role of Sales Account Manager is responsible for the sales and support of lubricant additives to both existing and new customers.  This is a technical sales/account management role and the successful candidate will interface with external customers and internal cross-functional teams to successfully manage a portfolio of North America-based accounts.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

  • Manages sales for own portfolio, including execution of short & long-term strategies. Develops and communicates strategies, plans and performance progress to engage the organization with focus on execution.

  • Responsible for delivering sustainable results aligned to strategic objectives for volume, margin, customer profitability, selling prices and expenses.

  • Responsible for Operational Excellence for the team. Ensures compliance within country laws and Chevron policies.

  • Responsible for execution of the sales process.

  • Builds strategic relationships with customers at different levels & functions.

  • Monitors customer profitability performance and directs account plans. Identify customer drivers. 

  • Communicates regularly with customers and participates in industry associations. Ensures delivery of customer offer consistently. Leverages elements of offer to meet customer requirements and maximize Chevron returns.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5 years of Experience in Lubricant, Chemicals, or Additives.

  • Customer Facing Experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical Degree

  • SalesForce Experience

  • SAP Experience

  • Oil & Gas Industry Experience.

Relocation may be considered.

International Considerations:

Expatriate assignments will not be considered.
