About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Analyst for Inventory and Product Costing. This role will be based in 6750 Building, Makati City, Philippines.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
1. Perform month-end closing activities like:
Prepares, monitors, and validates intercompany purchases of refined products
Monitors in-transit shipment at month end and calculate in-transit gain/loss for in-transit plant
Validates the ending volumes in SAP and coordinate with Terminal personnel for the disposition of variances
Records intercompany purchase accruals to eliminate intercompany imbalances at month end
Monitors reasonableness of Moving Average price (MAP) per material per plant and perform price revaluation for material distortions
Performs Exchange Reconciliation and Revaluation at month end to reflect latest MAP
Performs material ledger closing
Validates and executes GAAPSTAT entries
Investigates Forced Loss/Gains (FLGs) and beyond threshold Average Acquisition Rate (AAR) changes in CIRCA system
Performs month-end close task taps as required by the Regional MEC coordinators
Answers Local Finance and regional reporting queries
Performs volume reconciliation Materials Management (MM) vs. Financial Accounting (FI) Modules
Calculatea Deferred Income Tax on the temporary difference between Statutory and Corporate
Inventory valuation and post entries in SAP
Performs company-owned retail stations wetstock reconciliation
Performs materials & supplies accounting and reconciliation as necessary
2. Prepare Reports such as:
Prepares Financial Template-Inventory Balance/ Statistics
Prepares Commentaries template or Inventory Variance Analysis
Cost of Goods Sold Statutory vs Corporate
Other reports required by the government and regional reporting
Consolidated Inventory Report – per material per plant
LIFO Forecast Report
3. Perform accounts reconciliation for assigned GL accounts in accordance with FSS Accounts
Reconciliation Standards
4. Performs admin activities that may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Participates fully in Finance Safety Programs.
Ensures process documentations are kept current or timely updated and that records archiving and
retention policy are adhered to.
Performs other tasks that may be assigned by the Team Leader.
Prepares and updates work plan as necessary and monitor self-performance to achieve performance
goals.
Aims for continuous self-development by participating in self-study courses, reading relevant
professional materials, attends functional training, interacting with industry counterparts, etc.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy
Familiar with SAP
Good oral and written communication skills
Strong analytical, teamwork and customer engagement skills
Must have the propensity to work in a proactive, results-oriented, and customer-focused environment.
Enjoys working with people of diverse cultural backgrounds
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong SAP background, familiar w/ MM module but not required
Familiar with automation tools (Power pivot, Power query, Power BI, etc.)
