About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Product Owner - P2P Applications, and applications will be accepted until November 10 at 11:59 pm. This role will be based in 6750 Building, Makati, Philippines.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Product Planning and Strategy
This aspect of the role involves working closely with stakeholders to define a clear product vision and strategy. This means understanding the long-term goals of the organization and how the P2P applications can contribute to those goals.
Market research and analysis play a crucial role in identifying opportunities and trends that can be leveraged to enhance the product.
Creating and maintaining a product roadmap is essential. The roadmap outlines the timeline and prioritization of features and enhancements, ensuring that the product is aligned with business objectives.
Deployment and Execution
Collaboration with cross-functional Scrum teams is at the core of this responsibility. The Product Owner works closely with software engineers, data architects, and software architects to turn product ideas into tangible features.
Defining user stories and acceptance criteria is vital for effective communication with development teams. This ensures that development efforts are aligned with business needs and user expectations.
Overseeing the product's deployment process, including managing releases, is key to delivering timely and successful product updates.
Monitoring and reporting on project progress and key performance indicators (KPIs) helps in tracking the product's performance and identifying areas for improvement.
Product Ownership and Leadership
Taking ownership of the product backlog involves continuously refining and prioritizing items based on their business value and impact.
Leading sprint planning and review meetings in an Agile and Scrum framework ensures that development teams are aligned and focused on delivering value.
Championing Agile and Scrum best practices within the organization helps improve product development processes and team efficiency.
Change Management
Change management involves preparing the organization and end-users for product changes or new features. This includes creating and executing change management plans to facilitate a smooth transition.
Training end-users on how to use the new features and providing ongoing support are critical for user adoption and satisfaction.
Gathering and addressing user feedback is essential for continuous improvement. The Product Owner should be responsive to user needs and concerns.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Acting as the primary point of contact between development teams and stakeholders ensures clear communication and alignment of goals.
Facilitating collaboration between various teams and departments, such as procurement, materials management, and IT, is essential for the successful development and deployment of P2P applications.
Documentation and Reporting
Maintaining comprehensive product documentation, including user guides and release notes, helps users understand and utilize the product effectively.
Generating reports and analytics provides insights into product performance, user satisfaction, and areas that may require attention or improvement.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
Bachelor’s/College Degree in Engineering, Technology, Supply Chain Management, or any business course.
Demonstrates excellent planning, business, analytical, and communication skills to effectively collaborate with a diverse team of coworkers and internal and external stakeholders.
Demonstrates strong project management skills.
Demonstrates a skilled level of understanding of a variety of Procurement/Supply Chain business areas and processes, digital technologies, and agile practices.
Must have at least 5-8+ years of relevant work experience in technology consulting on P2P processes and applications.
High engagement skills, consulting background and strong digital proficiency.
Must be open to work on shift schedules.
Selection Criteria 1
Product Ownership, Leadership, and Influencing Skills – Demonstrated strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills. Self-starter with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, including strong ability to engage and influence internal and external key stakeholders. Strong team player with ability to engage across all levels.
Selection Criteria 2
Business Acumen – Broad knowledge on Procurement and Materials Management (PMM) processes, procedures, and operations. Skilled on development, implementation, and utilization of P2P and MM digital tools. Ability to effectively frame opportunities, analyze alternatives, and develop solutions to integrate processes and tools with strategies.
Selection Criteria 3
Deliver Results and Execution – Demonstrated ability to consistently deliver solutions with excellence by meeting or exceeding targets. Overseeing the product's deployment process, including managing releases is key to delivering successful product updates. Ensuring that teams are well-aligned with Agile and Scrum principles while effectively managing their workload and priorities.
Selection Criteria 4
Change Management – Proven ability to lead effective change within the organization. Ability to develop organizational capability and training of end-users on how to use the tool features and providing ongoing support for user adoption and satisfaction. Must have strong coaching and mentoring skills.
